Review provider profiles

A provider profile registers the credential and model that the review server uses to run reviews. The AI assistant's model remains separate from the registered review model.

Register a profile

  1. Configure OpenAI and its credential Key under AI Providers.
  2. Open Review provider profiles on the AI Code Review UI settings page.
  3. Click Add review provider profile.
  4. Choose a configured OpenAI Chat model on the separate form and save it.
  5. Select one radio button in the Default column, then click Save configuration. Select None (no default) to clear the default.

Each new review can select any registered profile or use the default.

The UI supports OpenAI direct_server profiles. APISIX-managed registration is not offered. Custom OpenAI endpoints configured in AI Providers cannot be translated to the supported server adapter and are rejected during registration.

Edit and delete profiles

The profile list offers Edit and Delete for each profile.

Edit rotates the profile's credential and model while retaining its ID. Delete opens a confirmation form. Confirming revokes the server profile, removes it from the available choices, and clears its default designation if necessary. Pending reviews using the profile may fail. Completed results and their profile snapshots are preserved.

The review server controls profile ownership and availability. Server metadata follows its retention policy. If registration loses its response, inspect the existing profiles before retrying.

Stored profile information

Registration and rotation fetch fresh server capabilities and seal the provider credential with the advertised registration public key. The UI saves the returned profile ID and non-secret provider, model, version, and server metadata. It does not persist the credential or registration envelope.

Ordinary reviews send the profile ID and repository metadata. Each saved review retains the profile ID and model label it used, even when the default changes later.
